Book Review - The On-Time, On-Target Manager
In The On-Time, On-Target Manager we see a great explanation of the cause and effects of procrastination. Kenneth Blanchard and Steve Gottry make an excellent team and they get to the heart of this matter in a brilliantly easy to understand story.

I really enjoyed seeing the cause and effect relationship with procrastination. The authors illustrated all of their points through a story. In the story we have a very capable guy who means well, but is constantly late and none of his projects come in on target. He is approached and dealt with by a compassionate, yet firm manager who is able to reveal to him the impact of his weakness on the world around him. I liked being able to see the impact of his procrastination in such a clear way; not just in the results of his work, but also the damage to the relationships with the people around him.

Although, in a sense, this is a negative topic, we all have areas of our lives we procrastinate in and this book will give you some new tools and practices to improve with. I appreciated gaining a new outlook and perspective and I recommend this book!
