Customer Spotlight: LTR Fastener & Supply

LTR Fastener & Suppy

From oilfield support to original equipment manufacturing to construction supply to off-the-shelf singles, LTR Fastener and Supply meets the needs of businesses right here in Oklahoma. A family owned and operated business, LTR fastener caters to the needs of businesses with no hassle special orders, custom manufactured parts, and even offers offsite inventory stocking for customers with little or no space to store their own inventory.

When you do business with LTR, you'll have the pleasure of meeting Micah Lomas, Billy Rackley, Michael Rackley, Donnie Talbert, and Robert Lomas. A startup business in January 2008, the guys at LTR are now living their dream. They've been in the fastener business their whole lives. Working in his dad's warehouse Micah started young.  The rest of the team left other areas of the commercial bolt manufacturing and sales business to bring some more competition to the local market.

LTR knows bolts and fasteners. They've invested a huge portion of their lives into what they do. When they talk fasteners, they talk from experience. With a rich history in fastener manufacturing, LTR has the experience necessary to help find the best solution for your fastener needs. They supply a vast range of products: Nuts, bolts, clips, washers, steel balls, screws, rivets, custom threaded rod, and even custom bolts. Not only does LTR stock the "standards," but they will go the extra mile to find solutions for your difficult projects. Recently LTR spent over 6 months to develop and supply a specific custom bolt for a customer who previously could not find a supplier for what was needed.

"Fasteners are usually your class C item, so it’s the last thing you're going to look at, but could be one of the first potential things to go wrong," said Micah Lomas in a recent interview. "If you're designing a drilling rig, or a compressor - whatever you're designing, and if the last thing to go into it are your fasteners, and you don't pay any attention to it, you can get into a jam during the manufacturing process. You can compromise your product. There's several different things that can happen with fasteners that are overlooked… that's where we're able to come in and help."

LTR achieves success through a finely tuned sales process. They spend whatever time is needed to fully understand their customer's application, including analyzing samples of fasteners that have failed in the past. They work backwards from the finished product all the way to the fasteners, explaining their recommendations and discussing the options. Micah pointed out that "It's more about giving options.  With fasteners there are so many different ways to do one thing. It's finding out what's right for our customer, what's right for their application…for a better stronger product that's not going to fall apart and looks good."
