Diverse CTI is a Corporate BICSI Member. Celebrating thirty years of service to the industry, BICSI is a world leader in telecommunications education. BICSI is a professional not-for-profit telecommunications association, founded in 1974 to serve and support the industry. BICSI now serves nearly 25,000 members and installers in more than 110 countries around the world. Their programs and interests promote the codes, standards, and methods for voice, data and video technologies.
Its mission is to lead the telecommunications industry in the enhancement of quality services and method saround the globe by providing excellent education, promoting skill sharing, and assessing knowledge with professional registration programs. BICSI actively participates in the National Electrical Code Panels and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) C22.1. In addition, BICSI participates in all of the American National Standards Institute/Telecommunications Industry Association/Electronic Industries Alliance (ANSI/TIA/EIA) and CSA Premises Wiring Committees in both the United States and Canada.
*RCDD: Registered Communications Distribution Designer title is given as a rating granted by BICSI. This rating is difficult to achieve and certifies that an individual is well educated in cabling distribution and design. In addition to passing an initial test, an RCDD must also go through ongoing education in order to maintain his/her RCDD certification.
